Ok, this error surfaces from time to time among early learners, so
we'll give it another airing. majQa' (and maj) are, grammatically,
interjections. They cannot be used as verbs, adjectives (which are
really verbs) or nouns (as seems to be attempted here). majQa'
means, all by itself, "Ya done real good!". In this case, the
sentence translates, basically as "You did great! is this book."
Clearly not what was intended. If you want to say "This book is
very good!", it would be: QaQqu' paqvam!
As usual, though, correction does not imply criticism. Kudos to
joel for stepping up and posting in Hol'e'. To him I can say a
hearty:
majQa'!
