Beginner's Qs, but may have wider interest...

In trying to construct what I thought would be two simple phrases,
I encountered a couple snags...

In particular, I wanted the following:
1. "Klingon is not just a language, it is a way of life."

I might start with:
                     Hol tlhInganbe' neH,
but neH doesn't quite seem to fit here, or does it??

As for "way of life", the closest I can get is:
yIn Da 'oH or yInvaD Da 'oH
(trying to use Da as a noun for "way" or "method" or "manner")
but this surely can't be right!

2: "Body and brain, human [or terran].
    Heart and soul, tlhIngan."

This one's pretty easy, even for a beginner, but...
I'll be damned if I can find a tlhIngan word meaning
spirit or soul!! Dol (=entity) doesn't seem right to me.
Now, there must a concept of the soul, the veqlargh claims
all those that died dishonourably.

Will any expert relieve a beginner's anxiety, and confirm
that there is more new, as yet unpublished, but canonical
vocabulary (that includes a v/n for method, and a n. for spirit)??
