This is just a reminder that TKD gives NO guidance WHATSOEVER on
punctuation. It doesn't even acknowledge its existence. Note: The examples in
TKD never end with periods, even when they are complete sentences and clauses
and phrases are never set apart from the remainder of sentences with commas.
Quotations never use quotation marks.

This list is the only place I've even seen punctuation used with
Klingon. Before signing on to this list, looking at TKD and interviews with
the art director who puts the written Klingon on sets for the movies and TV
show, I was using no punctuation at all. Each sentence was on a centered line
to itself. Paragraphs were separated by blank lines. No commas, semicolons,
etc. and no quotation marks. It looks kinda neat, inhuman and as easy to
interpret as punctuated, romanized Klingon.

The use of punctuation here is completely the convention of this list
and should not pretend to be sanctioned by Okrand, TKD, Paramont or anybody
else involved with the Klingon language beyond this list. I think we fall
back unnecessarily toward tera'ngan Hol to use punctuation, but this list has
been around much longer than I've been speaking Klingon, so I accept the
convention for the purposes of this list.

Though I still don't like it.
