The sentence fragment “too weird to live, too rare to die” appears in fear and loathing in las vegas

tlhoy taQ jIyIntaH seems to make sense but I’m wondering about the whole object subject thing. the line was used to describe doctor gonzo and in context is

“There he goes. One of God’s own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.”

given the the object and subject is so important would tlhoy taQ jIyIntaH be accurate in this case?

would that change if the subject is yourself

tlhoy taQ jIyIntaH ‘ej tlhoy (can’t find a word for rare(, or common as could add be’ suffix to negate and -na’ suffix to indicate it’s certainly not common )) Hegh
