Hi all,
First time poster here with a quick question…
I'm currently working on a film that has about 2 pages worth of Klingon spoken from our lead actress. She has requested some help in pronouncing some of the language accurately. What's the best way for me to see that she receives help, aid, assistance, etc? Thank you SO much for any help!
The ideal would be someone to coach her live. But if you can't find someone, I'd be willing to record the spoken lines for your lead actress to listen to.

Well, the best way, in my opinion, would be to get someone who is an experienced Klingon speaker and ideally has some phonetics training to work with the actress. Perhaps someone here who meets those qualifications would be willing to assist, but I don't know how many there might be who are qualified and available. For example, I have phonetics training but haven't been studying Klingon long enough to be a proper resource.
Otherwise, besides the pronunciation guide in the Klingon dictionary, there are some internet resources of varying quality available to help with pronunciation.
However, this presents another question: assuming the spoken Klingon in the script is proper Klingon, the lines must have been translated by someone familiar with the language. Is this person not available to assist?
That's what I already did for them. They should be good to go now.
