Transphobe
Posted by kropotkin on November 24, 2022 at 9:20 pmHey! I’m trying to translate “Transphobes have no honor” and “There are no transphobes in Sto’vo’kor”. Not overly difficult, but I have NO IDEA about “transphobe”. I realize there is no direct translation, but does anyone know of a similar term or could you recommend one?
Thank you! 🏳️⚧️⚧

I would say {‘Inyamna’ HuQ’am vuvHa’wI’} “true-self gender-identity disrespecter” for “transphobe”.

The “word” to begin with is using the wrong English premise and meaning. So any translation would be wrong. “Transphobe” dissected from proper and the American jargon of the socio-political construct would be “trans” = Transsexual – (Further dissected = Trans short for in transition combined with sexual or sex referring and being misused as gender), and “phobe” = phobia or fear of.
Now, to boil that down, no one is afraid of someone in transition from one gender to another. One because I can not happen with Homo Sapiens Sapiens as we have ONLY two genders. This IS a scientific fact. Two, no one is afraid period, of someone that confused and in need of such deep counseling.
What you seem to want a Klingonese word/phrase for is “Hater of the gender confused,” or “Discriminator of those that are gender confused.”
In the words of Maui, “You’re Welcome!”

This is not a forum for political discussions, or for arguing the validity of political positions. Anyone who does so, without offering any concrete knowledge of the Klingon language or culture, is just trying to stir up trouble. The chances that you will convince anyone of your political position, whatever it may be, in this forum are approximately 0%. That is not what people are here for.
I would advise that no one reply to this thread unless they are trying in good faith to answer the original question, using real examples with Klingon words, like I did. A flame-up over this question would be a bad idea and a waste of time. There are plenty of other places to have arguments about this on the Internet.

Thank you. My mother did have a smooth forehead. But, as I told my subordinates in the U.S. Navy, “Your answer is duly noted and given its due attention. You may carry on.”
