I would not use {vuSwI’}. I probably wouldn’t be able to figure out the meaning from simply reading “limiter”.
Depending on the type of clamp described, I might say {‘uchwI’} “holder”, {‘uchmeH SommI’} “tool for holding”, {‘uchmeH jan} “device for holding”, or in the case of a clamp that operates like a pair of tweezers, {‘uchmeH DaSwI’} “pincher(s) for holding”.
You might also substitute {vIHbe’meH} ~”for immobility” in those cases with {‘uchmeH} above.
This idea might be specialized enough to warrant an entry on the chabal tetlh.
