DESCRIPTION:The Shakespeare Appreciation Society meets weekly to read and discuss Shakespeare's works (currently\, Much Ado About Nothing) in the original Klingon. During the meetings\, we take turns translating a few lines at a time\, and then we take turns reading a selected passage aloud for pronunciation practice. Shakespeare is infamously among the more difficult Klingon texts to read\, so this group is geared towards Klingon language learners who are looking for a challenge. DESCRIPTION:The Shakespeare Appreciation Society meets weekly to read and discuss Shakespeare's works (currently\, Much Ado About Nothing) in the original Klingon. During the meetings\, we take turns translating a few lines at a time\, and then we take turns reading a selected passage aloud for pronunciation practice. Shakespeare is infamously among the more difficult Klingon texts to read\, so this group is geared towards Klingon language learners who are looking for a challenge. All are very welcome though\, regardless of experience. \nThe Society meets for one hour on Fridays at 11:30 AM PST (18:30 UTC) on the Klingon Language Institute's Discord server in the SeQpIr Ho'wI' yej'an voice channel.
