   This seems to be a very specific jargon term in a certain psychological theory. I don't think Klingons would have that exact theory or an exact concept as this.

      I agree that the meaning specifically associated with gestalt psychology probably isn't practical or realistic. But recall that this year we got a word for "self, ego", {'Inyam}. The text of the request mentioned Freudianism, but the word we got described a more generic 'self'.

      This I think is what we should go for here: a more generic term that describes 'a whole greater than the sum of its parts'. It reminds me of the existing Klingon word {Hutvagh} = "too many things or people in a place at once".

   So evidently there is an expression in one of the proverbs in The Klingon Way – {Dol nIvDaq matay'DI' maQap} "We succeed together in a greater whole", which seems to suggest that {Dol nIv} can already be used for the idea of a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
