KGT 100: Unless one is dining alone, a meal is typically quite noisy, with a great deal of talking (and often singing) accompanying the clattering of plates and bowls. This is particularly true of a {'uQ'a'} (banquet, feast; literally, "great dinner" or "big dinner", but used regardless of the time of day of the banquet).

KGT 77: At any social gathering, in addition to eating and drinking, there is no question that there will also be singing.

st.k (11/05/99): The idiom might be used when talking about a feast that had taken place a few nights ago. If a guest arrived late - after the eating had already begun - one might say something like: {tagha' pawpu' meb 'ach pumDI' Heghpu' qagh} or: {tagha' pawpu' meb 'ach pumDI' 'etlh Heghpu' qagh} "The guest finally arrived, but by then the gagh had died"."

There's a verse mentioning {'uQ'a'} from the paq'batlh (can anyone verify the text and supply the translation?):

'uQ'a' luSop neghwI' 'e' vIchaw' [sic?]
	   chaHvaD 'Iw HIq vInob
  	   vaj tlhutlhtaH 'e' luSIQlaHbe'
	ghIq po veb
	   may' ngajHa'moH
	   SuvwI'wI' ghobrupchu'be'ghach

This is from {paq'raD}, Canto 15: {vaq molor}. (Context: Molor is telling Kahless that his forces are so pathetic, he's going to inebriate his own just to make sure the battle doesn't end too quickly.)
