If they interest us and bring us smiles, that is enough. And it’s okay for people to do those other things, too. There are people enough to do everything, and no reason for us all to do the same narrow set of things.</div><div><br></div><div>Though the world would be cooler if more of us spoke Klingon.</div><br><div>

Hearing that ignorant masses apparently think Klingon isn’t a “real” language and that it’s just a geeky thing with a few Star Trek-centric things you can say with it, I feel like telling you stuff about my non-Star Trek-centric life, in the Warrior’s tongue, for no other reason than to prove the point that the criticism is actually ignorant.<br>

No, I won’t claim that it’s not geeky. I’m merely arguing with the assertion that you can’t speak in Klingon on a variety of topics. I also won’t promise that I’ll be universally understood. Likely, some people here will understand me easily, while some may argue with my word choices or grammatical constructions. Some of them will likely be right, but that misses the point.<br>
