Since the immediate context is all about the crowd and the other
hunters, it took me a while to grasp the intended object of {ghoSmoH}
and subject of {luchaw'}. I think an explicit {*Dugh* beq} or
something would help a lot.

If this is intended to be "she too carried a betleH", I suggest
{betleH qeng je ghaH}. Otherwise I'm more ready to interpret it as
"she carried a betleH (and carried something else too)" or perhaps
"she carried a betleH (and did something else too)." Adding {ghaH}
does use it in a slightly different sense than in the preceding
sentence. I don't believe that is a problem, but I can imagine a valid
complaint.

Olympic events tend to be won by outperforming your opponents; the
Year Games seem to be about combat. I think of them as more akin to
gladiatorial games.
