Did you consider {ghuS chaH}. I just like that we have a verb that
means baHrup. Or is the subject of ghuS the chetvI'? Even so, it
would make sense.

I suppose the ambiguity is in the English too: "shields up?" could
mean, "are their shields raised" or "should I raise the shields?"

But that clarifies it -- perhaps that's one of the reasons they put
the line there in the English.

Are botjan a countable item? I are there 'et botjan, nIH botjan, 'o'
botjan je? I would have thought so. This would be {botjan
lu'chu'lu'be'} for me.

I know you can't take credit for it, but I like the interlaced

I would have used yIra'choH, because Kirk has it and he's
transferring control, right? Or did Spock already have it? (My guys
say {meH DaSeH} for an alternate, but I don't think one is better
than the other for a term I literally don't know the meaning of in
English. What's the conn? Is it the same as a conning tower?

They always give me grief when I splice sentences together with a
comma. It can make them harder to parse.
KIRK: ghobe', jIghoS. ghu'wIj cholel 'e' Dangoy'.
This one gave me pause until I translated it, and even then I'm not
sure. What function is ghu'wIj serving in the sentence? It's not a
location, so it must be a prefix trick thing, but "You are
responsible that you get me out my situation," doesn't map properly
to you are responsible for getting me out of my situation" for me.
Maybe {ghu'vam vIyongHa' 'e' Dangoy'} or {ghu'vam choyongHa'moH 'e' Dangoy'}.

I'd reccommend qeng over ghaj--more specific always better and it
clarifies that it's the boarders not the ship that have none.
I'd use maghoSlI' (even though it always makes me think of Glen
Proschel, free hat to anyone who can figure out and admit why) or
maybe wItIjlI'.
