Just finished writing 'ay' cha'maH wejDIch of mIl'oD veDDIr SuvwI'; it was tough. Not because the material was hard or anything, but the 'ay' was intended to be spoken by foreigners from a distant country, so to emphasise that I wrote the whole chapter in Krotmag dialect.<br><br>I found it an intriguing challenge to make language choices appropriate to the context. mej caused particular headaches - particularly in one section where it says "everyone left us". numej Hoch could mean two completely contradictory things. So I cheated and put it as mejmeH ratlh pagh "no-one remained to leave/watch". Similarly "he ignored us", where numuSHa'taH is bizarre.<br><br>If anyone's done much Krotmag writing, what are some of your favourite confused pairs?<br><br>QeS<br> 		 	   		  </div></body>
