Good of him, that ... and I can certainly understand why a person would use a machine translator when all they want to do is share a message with some friends. (I've even told some jatlhlaHbe'wI'pu' who've asked me on the subject: Klingon machine translations are very, VERY seldom "correct". If that bothers you, then don't use them. If it doesn't: Have fun!)

Very unfortunate, though, when it makes it into an official text, such as a novel or even an episode (Worf: <SoS jIH batlh SoH.>). It "breaks the spell" for me; at least for a while.

I just now read a word-by-word translated Klingon sentence.  It's
nothing special, and normally I would've just forgotten about it, but
I'll link to it since you coincidentally just raised the topic:
