[23] I don't want to dilute or misuse the word yan, but I like the
image of brandishing or wielding a non-weapon as if it were a sword.
Am I being too influenced byt he way I would write it in English?
Should I use lo' or chu' instead? Is there a special Klingon verb we
don't know yet for "to wield (a non-weapon device)"?
[31] Based on personal experience. When I was a kid I was playing in
a field with a friend and she called me by name to turn and look at
her, then she threw a handfull of grass seed into my face at point
blank range. It took ages to get all the seeds out. The eye secretes
gunk to coat them and reduce the irritation but they lurk there down
inside the eyelids for days. I forgave her. I know someone else who
got a piece of straw wrapped around inside orbit under the eyelid in
similar circumstances. 'oy'.
