Talking about speaking dead bodies reminds me of the english use of pronouns for animals.
A dog is usually referred to as "it is hungry", but when "it" is your personal pet which you know by name, people would tend to say "he" or "she" is hungry.

So the coroner would definitely say {lommey} when refering to dead bodies, but I think one would accept {lompu'} for the "living dead".

And for slaves used like objects, {-wIj} would be appropriate. I don't know if it's a canon explanation, but if someone refers to a person saying {SoSlIj} or {HoDwIj} it's an insult for that person, treating it as an object. (that's why the suffix is correct in Hab SoSlI' Quch, where you want to insult the listener, not the SoS.)
