I guess I should really check my notes more thoroughly before saying
anything, shouldn't I? <g>

I don't have the poster with me. Are these 4 and 6 individual thrusters
respectively, or 4 and 6 clusters of maneuvering thrusters pointing in
different directions. Here's an old post from Qob that describes what I'm
thinking of:
"These would be the small cross-shaped rocket packs one sees on
the sides of the Apollo series Service Module, or the clusters
of rockets in the nose and on either side of the tail of the
Space Shuttle. (They are also the small square openings in four
spots around the saucer of the Enterprise-A which are surrounded
by orange paint.)"
There's another example of {chuyDaH} on the poster that's clearly collective:
'o' chuyDaH Hongghor je
aft thrusters and impulse drive. BoP
Interestingly, Okrand has never used the singular form {vIj} "thruster" in
a sentence. I wonder if he forgot it existed when translating the poster
captions?
BTW, all other examples of {chuyDaH} are used collectively:
chuyDaH yIlaQ
Fire the thrusters! TKD
chuyDaH
Thrusters! ST3
<chuyDaH yIchu'> (?)
Engage thrusters! ST6

Nope. {DoS} is singular, {ray'} is plural.
