When I first noticed the lack of this verb, I realized that it just doesn't 
make much sense.  But in trying to force it to make sense, how about "to wear 
wrongly"?  
{ba'HujDaj tuQHa'mo' batlhHa' tuQ.} "Because he wears his sash wrongly, he 
wears it without honor."
