Never used in a Klingon sentence.

Mentioned passim in KGT:

There is, in addition, at least one type of spear, the {tlhevjaQ},
which employs a {chetvI'}, a stick with a hook at the end, as an
aid for throwing. There is a single verb, {wob}, that is used to
describe the full range of activities involved in putting the
spear properly into the spear-throwing aid and using the aid to
   hurl the spear... [KGT 64-5]

So... *{wobmeH boQ} "spear-throwing aid"?

Related nouns: {QaH} "help"

>Homonyms:
> boQ (noun) - aide

{boQ} can be used for "assistant". Cf. also {boQDu'} "aide-de-camp".

> boQ (verb) - assist, aid

Used in canon:

   HIboQ
Help me! [said to a waitress] CK

Related verbs: {qeS} "advise" and {QaH} "help, aid"

Note BTW the similar sounding verb {boq} "ally with, form an alliance with"
and noun {boq} "alliance, bloc, coalition". An alliance is a particular
form of aid and/or assistance.
