Calling all microphone owners (again)

QeS lagh ([email protected])

Savan,

Recently I requested the participation of the list for an article I'm
planning for HolQeD, asking whether anyone would be willing to record some
20 to 30 sample sentences - or even responses to questions, to make the
study a little bit less scripted.

Unfortunately, I've only had one - count 'em - positive response. To that
person, many thanks. To everyone else: Where are you all?? {{:P

Klingon writing is well treated in HolQeD. Speech is relatively neglected,
in both canon and non-canon material. I'm looking to bridge that gap a
little; I've just recently ordered a copy of CK which I will be using
(thanks to lay'SIv and Quvar for that suggestion), but that's not going to
be enough, I fear.

So please, anyone who owns a microphone, I'd like to hear from you. I think
this could be a worthwhile thing for Klingon linguistics.
