I won't comment on your grammar (leaving that to ngabwI'), but I'll
answer this:
Yes, this is common practice. See question 2.11 in this list's FAQ (
http://higbee.cots.net/~holtej/klingon/faq.htm#2.11 , or go to
http://www.bigfoot.com/~dspeers/klingon/faq.htm and scroll down to
2.11), which talks about common punctuation conventions, including
{tlhIngan Hol} when quoting Klingon words in English text.
