One can. But ours is "THE Sun". One can use the same word as both a proper
noun and a common noun. To use an example that was argued about some three
years ago, there's a distinction often made between "god" and "God".
(Interestingly, there was some debate as to whether {Qun'a'} was suitable;
this reminds me of the arguments for {Hov'a'}. {{:D)
