If you use the verb suffix #5 {-lu'}, then
1st - the subject becomes indefinite, i.e. it becomes a passive voice in the english translation
2nd - you cannot use {-laH} anymore, 'cause it's the same verb suffix type #5
{naDev *german* Hol jatlhlu''a'?}
"is german spoken here?"
"does anyone speak german here?"
Your subject line reads {yu' jIghaj}
{yu'} is a verb, meaning "interrogate, to question thoroughly". You cannot use it as a noun for
"question". There is no noun for "question" yet.
But there are some verbs!
{yu'} means "interrogate, to question thoroughly", e.g.
"I interrogate someone in order to get information"
{De' vISuqmeH vay' vIyu'}
{ghel} "ask (a question)"
{tlhob} "request, plead, ask"
Now, in your case, what you did was asking a question: {jIghel} "I ask" ... this is almost the same as
"I have a question".
Remember: Speak Klingon forcefully!! Do you think you can attract a Klingon's attention by saying
"Excuse me, I have a question." ?
No.
You gotta jump at him, and shout: "I'm asking YOU!"
That'll work ;-)
