Yes, it is correct.
Note that the "you" is plural. (Su-)

I understood it.  When I see Dan I think of soldiers "occupying" a city, 
patroling the streets.  Thus the definition "occupy (military term)".  Even if 
it doesn't work for words in a sentence, I like the metaphor.
