You're right. {'entepray' 'ejDo' lengmey bIH} "They are the voyages of the
Starship Enterprise" is a little vague as an opening line.

All good. But how about the simpler:
'entepray' 'ejDo' lengmey bIH lengmeyvam'e'.
These (voyages) are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.
This allows you to keep "these" in your translation. "These X are the X
of..." or "This X is the X of..." are awkward in English, but Okrand has
used the pattern before in SkyBox SP1:
tlhIngan wo' Degh 'oH Deghvam'e'
This marking represents the Klingon Empire.
("This symbol is the symbol of the Klingon Empire.")
Elsewhere, Okrand has rendered a bare subject pronoun in English by using
noun plus {-vam} as the subject in Klingon:
Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam
It is a good day to die. TKW
("[In order] to die, this day is good.")
... and another example with {-vetlh} from the _Federation Travel Guide_:
tajwIj 'oHbe' chorlIj jeqbogh Dochvetlh'e'
That is not my dagger protruding from your midsection. FTG
("That thing which protrudes-from your belly is not my dagger.")
In SkyBox S14, notice how he even repeats the Klingon subject noun plus
{-vam} in both clauses for clarity:
SuvwI' vI' Dub naQvam 'ej ray' HopDaq bachlu'meH chuqna' ghurmoH naQvam
This serves to steady the aim of a warrior and increase the effective
range for distance targeting. S14
