You're using a "continuous" suffix. That would be okay if the schnapps
were still being poured as you sat down. But if it was just a puddle on
the seat, the pouring was completed and a "perfective" suffix would be
better. And since you think the pouring was an intentional act, I would
expect {-ta'} to be appropriate:
quSDaq HIq Humqu' lIchlu'ta' 'e' vISovbe'. "I didn't know that someone
had intentionally poured really sticky liquor on the chair."
