 We do know that Klingon warriors don't value age per se:

I can't agree.  it was my interpretation of MO's explanation of the word
<'utlh>, that being a retired officer was an honored status.  After all,
how could one not respect a warrior that has spent his life in the Klingon
military without ever haveing been defeated by an enemy, or weakening to
the point of being assassinated by a subordinate?
