SKI: Eleven months is a long time. I am indeed ready to resign, but I
won't forsake you.

And to tu'vel, who started this thread, PLEASE don't give up. You're
doing remarkably well. There are three interlinked lists here.

1. Beginners asking questions or posting texts for corrections, the BG
correcting them and others commenting on the corrections. This is for
the most part in English or simple Klingon and can be followed by
anyone, by looking up the issues and words under consideration in TKD.
2. Intermediate/advanced speakers discussing and/or arguing points of
grammar and new information. This flips back and forth between being
in English and in Klingon. Perhaps read one post from each side of
the battle to see if you can understand what the issue is, and if you
care. There are few new threads of this type. They have periods of
three to nine months before re-emerging. It's good to know what the
issues are so you can avoid controversial usage, or be prepared to
defend it.
3. Personal chatter in Klingon. There are several people on the list
whom I consider friends, but I almost never send them personal e-mail.
Because it's within the charter of the list, and because we want to
demonstrate how Klingon can be used, we just talk about our lives
right here.

Your plea for a beginners' environment may remind people to remove the
"KLBC" when the message stops considering beginner issues, and to
change the subject heading to reflect drifting subjects.

Qov - Beginners' Grammarian (I think) for now
