Subject: Re: KLBCbej: jIyInta

rIntaH: Over! A term used in radio communications to indicate that; "I
am done transmitting, now it is your turn to _continue_ the
conversation" so that the reciever of this will then know when to
begin speaking. In radio, to avoid traffic collisions, one must
recieve a verbal clue as to when one is able to speak, given by the
previous speaker in a multiparty conversation.

KISS: This is one of the core words used in almost all modern
military organizations. Except the Russians, they drive the rest of us
crazy during SIGINT (Signal Interception). Thus Qov has an excuse to
not know this on two counts! (Russian being one of her earlier
Languages of study, and that she has never been in the military)

This is probably used at the suggestion of GR ( a former Army Air
Corps pilot, during WWII). Although Voraghs' info about the origins of
the actual phonetics, the end derivation is likely well pointed at
ValQIS for the source of this construction.

As with many words, where thier use is derived from the military, the
construction might have contradictory implications.

Example: Military Intelligence, etc...
(need we say more?)

Wie die Funker mussen " uber" sagen, nach jede sprachung am Radio.
