What is it ready to do? That's what you need to know in order to use
the idea of "ready", unless you want to talk about being ready to launch
torpedoes. Unfortunately, it's not easy to say that it is ready to have
something done to it.
If the coffee is finished perking, you might try "it has been prepared."
