Oooh, yes, or at least survive in a few mutated idioms.
Maybe there is a hint of the old system in words like DungluQ, ramjep,
pemjep, or jajlo'. How many divisions had the day? What were their
early timekeeping instruments like? I imagine they invented the
sundial, the hourglass, various mechanical clocks. (Surely the round
face of our clocks influenced "quarter to" or "half past"
terminology). Grin. maybe between quarter after an hour and quarter
to the next, "taH tlhaq."
