}If you insist. I find it hard to believe (though not impossible) that
}Klingon would have verbs which *cannot* have any logical subject. Qov's
}suggestion that {SIS} and {peD} and so forth use the indefinite subject
}suffix {-lu'} advocates this idea.

There are English verbs that are only used in really limited ways. I don't
have a problem with there being similar Klingon verbs. I don't object to
seeing {SIS} and {peD} used alone or to {peD muD} or {peD chal} or {SIS
bIQ}. I stated the construction that I currently prefer. I changed to it
from preferring the simple {SIS} and I may change again in the future.

}I think we just have to find out what the proper subject for these verbs is.
}Perhaps it is {muD} "atmosphere."  Since we do know that {muD Dotlh}
}"atmosphere's status" is the correct phrase to use when asking about the
}weather (see HolQeD 2:4), it would be logical to say exactly what the
}atmosphere is doing in response to this question.

We have many things to find out about Klingon, and until we find them out I
will acept everything that seems reasonable and use and advise to use the
ones I like best, mentioning the controversy as I do so.
