UUDECODE is a program that allows you to convert uuencoded messages back
into their original form. (Isn't that a helpful explaination.)
UUENCODE allows you to convert things that many old mail programs cannot
handle, like images, sound files, etc. into a form that will be
transmitable. This is done by mapping the values into the set of
printable characters. The resulting file can be attached to a mail
message and will not lose any information during transmission.
