I agree with the wa', cha', wej... counting and with the fact that if you
cannot count it there is no "name" (number) for it. when I read {pagh} I do
not translate it as "zero" but as "nothing" or "no". (Except in "higher
mathematics" of course).
{pagh rep} "zero hours" = no hours are over yet.
{pagh vlIegh} "zero (of them) I see" = I see none / nothing
On your second discussion:
24 hours was just a randomly chosen number that Humans choose a long time ago
because you can divide it through many numbers whithout getting fractions
(through 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24). Just as 360 degrees in a circle. These 24 hours
is the period of one rotation of {tera'}.
