Verbs that express states or qualities are okay to use as adjectives.
That's all there's to it. Whether their English glosses in _tKD_ are
of the `be such-and-such' form is neither here nor there.

Because {qet} is not a stative verb; running is an activity (or a
process, or an energeia, depending on whose terminology you use),
not a state.
