If it's "they left your mouth," try "nujlIj lumej." You have the -vo'
suffix on "nujlIj": "they went fromt your mouth." "nujlIjvo'" is not the
object of "jaH"; it isn't taking an object. It's the Klingon analogue to a
prepositional phrase. See sections 3.3.5 and 6.1 in the dictionary; nouns
ending with type-5 suffixes (except -'e') generally are neither the subject
nor the object of verbs.
The suffix -ta' does not indicate past tense. It indicates completion,
perfective aspect. It means that at the time under discussion (which is
set by context, and may be past, present, or future), the action described
is complete. So "jImejpu'" means "I have left" or "I had left" or "I will
have left," depending on the context; but "I left" is more likely implied
by the context and is simply "jImej."
