Thanks for the info, but aside from contributing a Klingon energy drink to a
local cookbook [which was disappointingly only American recipes with no real
attempt to make them Klingon in 'feel'], I can't do much else Klingonese. I
don't speak the language.
About the only other contribution is a good snicker: At a recent Trek con in
Winnipeg, the MC of the banquet announced that the Klingons got to go around
the buffet table last of all, because it had just been discovered that
'buffet' in Klingon meant 'contact sport'! The Klingons roared approval, but
promptly raided the dessert table, confiscating all the trays of cherry-topped

With the help of Bart Barker I am moving forward with the new issue of
<jatmey>, intended for release at the end of December. We still have roo=
m
in the issue, so if you'd like to submit an original work of poetry or
fiction (in Klingon!) for our consideration you still have time to do so.
Submissions may be sent by email to me at [email protected]. Be sure to
include the phrase "KWP Submission" in the subject line.
If you've already sent something in but haven't heard back from me, this
would be a good time to send a cautious inquiry. I think we've accounted
for all the submissions to date, but it's possible something may have
slipped through the cracks (in my head).
