Hey, Jimmy. I'm SuStel, the list's new Beginners' Grammarian, and if you've
got any questions about the Klingon language, or want me to review something
for you, or even just want other beginners to take a look at what you've done,
just put "KLBC" in the subject line (as I've done here), and I'll get right to
it!
I'd like to show you one thing for now. In Klingon, sentence order is
OBJECT-VERB-SUBJECT. That means if you want to write "I see you," you have to
say {SoH qalegh jIH}. Look up {SoH} and {jIH} and you'll see that they're
pronouns. {legh} is "see," and the {qa-} prefix is a prefix from the table on
page 33 of The Klingon Dictionary. All Klingon sentences work in this order.
batlh tlhIngan Hol Daghojjaj!
May you learn Klingon honorably!
SuStel
