RE: Question

>Could someone tell me how you use tense of verb in Klingon.

As far as I can tell, you don't use tense. It is assumed that you just know what tense the verb should be in. In Klingon, you would not say "I am going to Earth." or "I went to Earth." You would just say "I go to Earth." and based on the rest of the sentence and conversation, everyone would just know the proper tense. I guess that if you are on your way to the school, you could add the suffix "lI'" to the verb "jaH" (to go), making "jaHlI'", for in the process of going. Therefore the above sentences would read as follows:

I am going to Earth. (ie: I will be going to Earth.)
tera' jIjaH.

I went to Earth. (ie: I have been to Earth already.)
tera' jIjaHta'.

I am going to Earth. (ie: I am on my way to Earth.)
tera' jIjaHlI'.

Perhaps I'm way off on this. Anyone got any comments?

Qapla'!
