Maybe fussions arn't as popular which is why we don't see any.
The DS9 episode "Trials and Tribblations" left the subject of what the old
series, flat headed klingons where, but they could not have been fusions.
We have seen klingon/human fusions (K'helar and B'lana Torrez), and while
there facial features are softer, they still have ridged heads. Any
explanation of what the old series klingons are would also have to explain
why Kang, Kor, and Koloth had flat heads, and then grew ridges.
