Hamlet

The original one thousand hardbound, numbered copies of HAMLET are almost
all sold. There are not currently any plans to reprint the hardbound
edition.

There remains a possibility that somewhere down the road a trade paperback
edition might be published. However, despite an initial show of interest
from sources at Pocket Books last Spring, we have not made any real
progress on this front.

The deluxe red leather edition (limited to twenty-six copies) is still
available. Copies are not for sale, but are given as an expression of
appreciation to individuals donating $500 or more to the KLI.

Ten copies of HAMLET were signed by Andrew Strader, Mark Shoulson, Will
Martin, d'Armond Speers, and myself at the qep'a' wejDIch. These were then
shipped by boat to Australia for Nick Nicholas to sign. He has received
and signed them and I believe the books are making the return journal home.
Once I have them they'll be shipped to Sarah Ekstrom for her signature (as
she was not at the qep'a') and again shipped back. These signed copies
will then be made available for purchase at Ferengi prices, most likely
through a Rare Book agent (though we'll offer them to the mailing list
first).

Bottom line: If you don't yet own a copy of HAMLET we're running out of
books and you're running out of time. I do not expect to have any copies
left for sale after the winter holidays. To paraphrase the motto or the
Klingon merchants' guild: bIje'bechugh vaj bISaQ.
