I'm sure Ken Traft and Joel Anderson could answer you better than I could;
they know more about how things are going. I'll answer only briefly.

Basically, Glen Proechel is a Klingonist, organizer of the first Klingon
camp and several other projects, erstwhile contributor to HolQeD, etc. For
various reasons, he and Lawrence (and thus the KLI) developed different
ways of doing things and differed on many points, and he now heads his own
Klingon-studying organization, called the ILS (Intergalactic Language
School, I think). It's based in Minnesota, where Glen lives. He's put
out some books and study aids and assorted literature and a journal; I
remember seeing Joel post some price-lists here now and then. Best to take
up details with those who know better than I.
