(smile) I figured that would be the response I would get, just making
sure you guys were still listening... Actually, my original post was
quite a bit longer, and in retrospect probably would have explained
my intentions better. I just didn't want to take up time etc. for
what was really just a couple of trivial questions.

Nothing, really. These were just some ideas that have been floating
around in my head for a few months. I just thought I'd check them.
I understand and completely agree with the whole "don't translate
words, translate concepts" mantra. As you can see, I wasn't
translating anything more than simply "sleeve, pant leg, toenail and
sheath" (the last one was less than that even, I just wondered if the
term could be used for "knife holsters" too). No complex sentances,
no intricate grammar, just some bits of fluff.
