Not meaning to disparage your good work, perhaps it was rejected for the
math.
You know how Klingons are sticklers for accuracy.  The number of CVC
combinations
is 2268. {{;-) This makes the total number of one-syllable "words" equal to
2541.
Of course if you had written 10111010 in base 3, maybe noone would have
noticed!
(wa'-pagh-wa'-wa'-wa'-pagh-wa'-pagh - the beginnings of a Klingon rhythm
section)

Of course, perhaps it was rejected because of the dozens of pages it would
have taken
to print that possible-word list.  Egad!
