=The Hebrew Bible, called in Christian culture the Old Testament (which
=sometimes sounds funny to me, since for me it's the *whole* Bible) is
=written in Hebrew, with a few chapters in Daniel and the odd word here and

There's an old wives' tale (admittedly, a fairly old one: 2nd or 3rd century,
I forget which) that Matthew was translated from the Aramaic. As far as I
can tell, modern Bible scholars don't believe it.
Revelations, on the other hand, might as well not be in Greek at all; its
author's command of the language is quite tenuous.
