uu> Okrand is a great weaponsmith. He has given us many wonderful
uu> weapons. We thrill in learning how to use his weapons, but there are
uu> some things that are difficult to do with the necessarily limited
uu> weapons he has given us. We pressure him to make new weapons and we
uu> celebrate when he gives us one. But we also thrill in trying to learn
uu> how to use the weapons he HAS given us to do the things that seemed
uu> impossible. If the humans would stop complaining about the lack of
uu> weapons, we could get down to training ourselves to use the ones we
uu> have to fight this "battle of language".
This is a wonderful view of what we have to work with, and a very Klingon one
as well. janSIy is to be commended, and those of us who are never satisfied
with what we have should remember that a well-trained man armed only with a
rifle will almost always defeat the poorly trained man who has all the latest
toys clipped to his belt.
