"When we threaten that we hit him, Corey says, '..." No, this
doesn't work. First, verbs of speech generally do not use
{'e'}. Next, {puqpu'} needs the suffix {-'e'} if you mean to
say, "Children are not X". Meanwhile, {qIpbogh} would need to
be a noun if {chaH} is being used as a verb. It is not a noun.
Meanwhile, if {chaH} is being used as a noun, it can't take the
verb suffix {-be'}. The grammar is in too great a conflict with
itself for me to extract meaning from this collection of words.

I think the {'e' lo'laHbe'} part is a mistake. You seem to be
building a "sentence as subject" construction here, trying to
say, "Carol believes that it is useless for me to study the
Klingon language." Meanwhile, the "it" is the subject of "is
useless" and it represents the sentence "I study Klingon
language." No can do. The language expressly forbids it. You
need to recast.
