Yeah, But wasn't it sometimes written in a spiral (snail-shell like) sometimes?

My problem is I read too much and remember not enough. The last major work
that I've read was the "Book of the Dead" (translated). In between Celtic
and Norse Mythologies, Histories of the Middle-Ages, and various other
works of fiction. Looks like I've got some re-reading to do.
