On October 22, 1995 I was one of six science fiction authors on a panel at
Mile High Con 27 in Denver, Colorado. The topic was Building a Better Star
Trek. Audience participation revealed that what people want the most is more
character development, particularly of aliens. At least that audience would
like to get an intimate knowledge of personalities, including Klingon
personalities.
I personally like knowing about the development of species. One of my
favorite authors is Jean M. Auel.
